Our Work
Littles Lane Project
Moving from NYC, our clients wanted a touch of urban modern mixed with the warmth and coziness of suburbia. We did this by incorporated touches of black and clean lines paired with natural wood, wicker and soft textural furnishings.
South End Project
Our client is a working professional and wanted her brownstone to become her sanctuary. Close city living calls for a strategic design therefore, we customized her furniture to precisely fit the space. In this case, every inch is significant and every material matters.
Kennebunk Rental
Our contemporary clients wanted to switch things up for their second home. Predominately used as a rental, our clients requested a design that made their guests feel treasured and pampered. They wanted their home to not necessarily say coastal but feel coastal. We did this by adding subtle, not so obvious elements like raw wood and patina copper.
The Treehouse Project
Commercial projects are some of our favorite designs, especially when its function serves a greater, soulful purpose. Here, we designed two preschools in Charlestown, MA and Portsmouth, NH. The owner wanted to divert from the traditional primary colors and embrace a sense of calmness. We used jewel tones and pastels to evoke relaxation but kept things playful with funny imagery and inspirational decals.
The Beck Project
Our clientβs love hosting so we transformed this kitchen by adding a luxurious island and of course, a living room dry bar. Their 3rd floor primary bedroom called for a refresh and a much needed primary bathroom. We seamlessly merged two bohemian looks by using rattan, bold patterns and blue accents.
The 7 North Project
The owner of this coffee shop wanted to evoke a feeling of simplicity, approachability and minimalism. We did this by bringing in a nordic influence with bleached wood and sharp patterns. We creatively displayed the local art and swag to encourage customer engagement. The color palette is intentional in its neutrality to invite the patrons to lay back and let the coffee beans do the daily grind!
High Rd. Project
This home belongs to a family that loves to have fun and never takes themselves (or design) too seriously! We celebrated this philosophy by not only showing it through the swings in the living room or the comical, up-close dog portraits, but we literally TOLD their mantra by writing it on the bathroom floor, βHakuna Matata.ββ¦ It means no worries for the rest of your days.
The Man-Cave Project
We transformed this gloomy basement into a bright haven for Father and Son. They really wanted this space to feel like a 1st level room so we leveled up in every way! We sourced unique pieces from overseas like the wood tiles from Lithuania, the industrial pendant light from Germany or the door made in Morocco. Customization brings this look across the finish line with its metal ductwork, floating fireplace, and wall-mounted stools made-to-order. That extra effort and precession elevates any room, even if its on the bottom floor.
The West Newbury Project
Our client wanted her main living space to feel happy for her growing family. First, task #1 was to bring in the sunshine! So we did what we always do⦠knock down walls and remove the 3-season porch. This alone can do wonders in terms of setting the mood. Then we added warm brass tones, cozy wood paneling, and caramel leathers. To provide some needed contrast, we peppered pops of black to round out the space and surprise the senses.
The Chestnut Hill Chilacates Project
Chilacates is a Mexican restaurant owned by a family that truly cooks with love. (Just check out their reviews!). We went wild with color but created a palette that was controlled in its chaos. The art is a global collection, hand-picked from multiple artisans to create an eclectic one-of-a-kind look. The stone tile tells an old world story and the copper elements will patina and become even more beautiful over time. We have designed multiple locations but this one might just be our fav!
