Ivory & Bone Interiors is a full-service interior design firm based in Newburyport. Principal designer Katie Goodrich founded the studio in 2013, and much of our work is close to home, from Newburyport and Amesbury to Ipswich, Beverly and Lynnfield. We take a project from the first layout to the final accessory: millwork, finishes, furniture, procurement and installation.

How we work on the North Shore
Many North Shore homes are antiques, Federal and Victorian houses or coastal properties with their own quirks. We respect the architecture and plan for what older houses bring: uneven floors, original trim and salt air.
We keep what makes a historic home special, from original mantels and wide pine floors to period trim, and design custom millwork that looks like it was always there.

We order every piece, track lead times and coordinate deliveries. Every item is received and inspected by our partner warehouse before it reaches your home.
Procurement handled end to end
We collaborate with your architect and general contractor, or refer trusted trades if you need them.
Close to home
Our studio is in Newburyport, so we’re on site often, from early walkthroughs to install day.
