Interior design across Boston
Ivory & Bone Interiors is a full-service interior design firm working across Boston, from South End brownstones and Back Bay residences to Seaport apartments and neighbourhood restaurants in Cambridge and Charlestown. Principal designer Katie Goodrich founded the studio in 2013. We take a project from the first layout to the final accessory: architectural consultation, custom millwork, finishes, furniture, procurement and installation. At the end, you walk into a finished home.
Our Boston work
Other Boston homes include Follen Street in Back Bay and Hanover Street in the North End. We have also designed homes for clients in the Seaport, Jamaica Plain, Charlestown and Cambridge. Our commercial work includes Chilacates in Chestnut Hill, Flight House Gym in Charlestown and WuBurger in Cambridge.

How we work in the city
City projects bring their own logistics: building rules, tight stairwells, limited delivery windows and every inch of square footage counting. We plan for that from the start.
Built-ins, bars and storage are designed to the inch, so smaller rooms work harder without feeling crowded.
Custom millwork for city footprints
We order every piece, track lead times and coordinate deliveries. Every item is received and inspected by our partner warehouse before it reaches your home.
Procurement handled end to end
We collaborate with your architect and general contractor, or refer trusted trades if you need them.
Not always on site? That’s fine
If you’re travelling or decorating from a distance, we can work online and handle the on-site details for you.
